Introduction

Welcome to StoriedLife, a proprietary platform designed to facilitate the documentation and preservation of personal histories through artificial intelligence-enabled interactions and storytelling capabilities. This application, including its associated services and features, is provided by Storied Life AI Corp. ("we", "us", or "our").

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the StoriedLife application, you, the user, hereby agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this application. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Storied Life AI Corp..

Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. The collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to the data handling practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access features of StoriedLife, you will be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Intellectual Property Rights

As a user of StoriedLife, you retain full ownership rights to all content you create, including the stories, experiences, and information you share during interactions with our AI Interviewer. Additionally, you retain full ownership of any content generated by the StoriedLife platform, including summaries, stories, and other outputs created by our AI engine from your input.

Storied Life AI Corp. does not claim any copyright or ownership rights over your content or the content generated by the platform. You have the exclusive right to use, modify, share, and distribute both your original content and the generated content for any purpose, including commercial use.

Prohibited Uses

Users are prohibited from using StoriedLife for any unlawful purpose, to infringe upon the rights of others, to harass or harm another person, to exploit or endanger minors, or to interfere with or disrupt the application's security features.

Content Guidelines

Users are responsible for ensuring that all content uploaded, posted, or otherwise transmitted through the application complies with these Terms and does not violate any laws or rights of others. Storied Life AI Corp. reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and remove content that we determine in our sole discretion to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right at any time to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the application or any service to which it connects, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modifications, suspension, or discontinuance of the application or any part thereof.

StoriedLife provides tools and features for reflective and personal conversations through an AI-powered assistant. While the application aims to facilitate meaningful insights and personal stories, it is important to note that all content, advice, suggestions, and interpretations provided by the StoriedLife assistant are generated for informational and entertainment purposes only. Storied Life AI Corp. is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from your interactions with the application. Users are solely responsible for their actions, including any personal or professional decisions made based on the content or conversations generated by the StoriedLife assistant. If you require specific advice (e.g., medical, legal, financial, or psychological), you should consult a professional who is qualified to provide that advice.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The StoriedLife application is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Storied Life AI Corp. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. In no event shall Storied Life AI Corp. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Storied Life AI Corp., its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the application, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including without limitation any intellectual property rights.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement and any action related thereto shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by arbitration in Ontario, Canada, before one arbitrator. The arbitration shall be administered by ADR Institute of Ontario (ADRIO) , pursuant to its rules and procedures. The award rendered by the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. This clause shall not preclude parties from seeking provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a court of appropriate jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If we make any significant changes, we will notify you directly through appropriate means, such as via email or in-app notifications, to ensure that you are aware of the updated terms.

By continuing to use the StoriedLife application after receiving notice of any significant changes, you are indicating your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the StoriedLife application. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is current and accurate so that we can notify you of any changes.
